Between 2017 and 2020 I covered the mounting migration crisis spilling over Colombia’s border. Back then, the situation remained a regional problem, but South American leaders warned it would eventually reach the US.

Recognition

In 2019 the United Nations flew me (first class) to Geneva, Switzerland, to present my reporting to a UN working group on migration policy.
